It all started with a brownie.

Ilsa, while working as a waitress at Texas Roadhouse, ordered a brownie from Randy, a bartender at the very same restaurant. She loved the brownie, but didn't pay for it (this is Ilsa, I was told it was free!!!). Randy, who didn't taste the brownie, called her after she left work and asked her to return and pay for her brownie. A romance was born.

After 10 years together, and many more brownies, Randy popped the question at 6:12 p.m. on Christmas Eve 2013. 

Here's a little more info on the bride and groom.

Ilsa Marie De La Garza was born in Edinburg, TX on October 17, 1984. She attended Jefferson Elementary and participated in many talent shows where she performed to her favorite Latin artist, Selena. In 2010, Ilsa and Randy decided to move to Dallas to further their careers. In 2011, Ilsa graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas and is currently attending Texas Woman's University where she is double Mastering in Business Administration and Health Systems Management.

Randy Ramirez was born on 7/11/81. With a bday like that you'd think he could win big in Vegas, sadly, this has never happened. He graduated from South Texas High School for Healthcare Professions, or Med High, after which he vowed he'd never work in the medical field. Randy graduated from the University of Texas - Pan American with a B.A. in English and a minor in Spanish in 2010. That year also brought a move from South Texas to North Texas for both Ilsa and Randy.

Ilsa and Randy currently live in Dallas with their two dogs, Brewskie and Raja, and their @sshole of a cat Lestat. 

Our love of the beach and water makes our beach wedding no surprise to anyone. The ceremony is going to be very casual, we are hoping for everyone to wear a lot of white and take advantage of the Cabo sun. It is only a matter of time until I take those first steps down the sandy aisle in my wedding dress to become Mrs. Randy Ramirez! This will be an event to remember and we can't wait to share it with all of you!

 Our cocktail hour will be immediately after our ceremony. Join us for drinks and dancing as we celebrate tying the knot! It'll be fun and fabulous! Our cocktail hour will be followed by our reception dinner at The Siempre Restaurant. Get ready to savor delicious Mediterranean-style cuisine with a distinctive Mexican twist!

 Randy and I would like to take a minute and thank all of our most cherished friends and family for being here for us. Each of you have a very special place in our hearts. We cherish the love you've given us, and the positive impact that comes with knowing and loving each of you in return. We can't wait to share our special day with you!
